CE ENERGY ANNOUNCES SATISFACTION AND WAIVER OF CONDITIONS FOR REDEMPTIONS OF ITS OUTSTANDING 7.00% SENIOR NOTES DUE 2021

CE Energy, a.s. (“CE Energy”) today (March 16, 2016) announced that it has completed (i) an increase in its registered capital that resulted in aggregate net proceeds to CE Energy in a sufficient quantity to pay the redemption price of the €50,000,000 aggregate principal amount of its €375,000,000 outstanding 7.00% Senior Notes due 2021 (the “Notes”) that have been called to be redeemed on March 29, 2016, and (ii) one or more financing transactions that resulted in aggregate net proceeds to CE Energy in a sufficient quantity to pay the redemption prices of the €32,500,000 aggregate principal amount and €292,500,000 aggregate principal amount of outstanding Notes that have been called to be redeemed on March 30, 2016 and April 1, 2016, respectively. As such, the Equity Offering Condition (stated in the notice of redemption issued on February 26, 2016) and each Refinancing Condition (stated in the notices of redemption issued on February 29, 2016 and March 1, 2016) have been satisfied. CE Energy hereby waives any other Redemption Condition stated in any such notice of redemption. The redemptions of the Notes will occur on March 29, 2016,
March 30, 2016 and April 1, 2016.
